| The Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands is
an organization comprised of members representing hotel properties
established in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).
The Association is governed by its Articles of Association and By-laws.
As a fraternity of organization of hoteliers, we pledge to render
support, assistance, and cooperation to our fellow members. Additionally,
we offer the same to the island community, facilitating the eventual
realization of their dreams and goals. We delight in their fruition
knowing that our Association has contributed to a better way of life
for the peoples of the CNMI. To garner the respect of the community,
local and federal governments, and visitors, we proclaim, as individual
members, to uphold the following code of association
standards:
1. To adhere to the statutes and regulations of the Commonwealth
of the Northern Mariana Islands and those of the United States of
America applicable to the CNMI;
2. To willingly and pleasantly make available to all peoples of
this planet room accommodations without prejudice of race, age,
religion, gender, political affiliation or belief, marital status,
physical/mental limitations, or place of origin;
3. To formulate and implement non-discriminatory in-house policies
as applied to treatment of guests, employees in relation to other
employees, and supervisors over subordinates;
4. To diligently seek for means to maintain or improve appropriate
hotel image.
5. To promote our own individual hotel properties; and
6. To collectively promote the CNMI as visitors' destination.
Our Association will strive to become an influential entity by
improving and strengthening our position as integral members of
the Commonwealth community. It is our goal and objective that by
adhering to the preceding codes, our organization will earn the
desired respect from both the Commonwealth and global communities.
